:aw: :aw: :aw: This little tutorial i wrote up is by far the easiest to use because all it involes is opening up your MP3, choosing the sample you like, saving it and then converting it to i730 standard and loading it to the phone...easy huh lets begin...
Item you will need:
1. MP3 Sound Cutter 1.40 (opens mp3s and allows u to cut them and save them as wav files)
2. Cool Edit Pro 2.1 (also known as the new Adobe Audition 1.0, this allows you to change the wav format so its compatible with the i730)
Step 1: Install MP3 Sound Cutter 1.40 and Cool Edit Pro 2.1 to your local hard drive.
Step 2: Open MP3 Sound Cutter 1.40 and hit the open button, then browse to the MP3 you would like to make your ringer out of and hit OPEN
Step 3: Now that your ringer is loaded its time to hit the PLAY button(second green button on the left) to start the MP3
Step 4: To your right there is a have pointing the index finger up, click this when you would like to set the BEGINNING point for this ringer. Then hit the hand with the index finger down to set the END point for this ringer. To insure you have the correct segment
marked hit the PLAY button on the far right this time, this will play just what we have marked as our ringtone segment.
Step 5: Hit the little folder button on the farrrrr right this time with the blue arrow facing down, this will bring up another box for you to save your file, ok so far so good, insure the circle radio button for WAV is marked then just hit the check mark and the file
browser will come up for you to name the wav file. Name your file and click save. *NOTE*
when you save your file make sure you KNOW WHERE U PUT IT so we can open it with Cool Edit!!!!!
Step 6: Open Cool Edit Pro 2.1 (Adobe Audition 1.0) and go to File -> OPEN and find the wav you just saved, select it and click OPEN.
Step 7: Hit F11 on your keyboard and a popup will come up make sure you select these settings.
Sample Rate: 8000
Channels: Mono
Resolution: 8
Clear the Dither check box and uncheck the Pre/Post Filer check box.
Step 7: Hit OK, and then File -> Save, now close Cool Edit and your file is ready for loading.
Happy WAVing

Check this post to find a working version of Cool Edit Pro CLICK_ME (http://www.djjeffa.com/vb/showpost.php?p=29978&postcount=2)
As far as cracking it goes, we do not support software picacy on this site. There is a way to do it, google it.
