This directed to LB. But any one feel free to add your input. LB I don't know if you remember that BAT thread I made on TNF. Well I have a BAT file similar to the one I made but this one prevents you from Logging on to your P.C. Well as you probably know already I executed the bat file. Now I am unable to log in my laptop. The shut down button has been disabled. Also When I try to do a repair via the XP CD, its not picking up my partition where my original xp is installed.

Essentially, Its all what the .bat file was set to do. To be safe and from a corrupt and future problematic XP, just boot to the xp disc, choose a fresh install .. then it will search the drives and see the xp currently there; from there choose to repair the xp install and im sure that will correct the problem
I always recommend a full clean wipe and reinstall in these events .. starting with using the main drive as a slave to get off what you need and then reinstall ..
Hope this helps..

Well, I bought a new hard drive(100 gig) to replace the (40 gig) thats in my laptop. I tried what you said, this is funny. When I choose to do a fresh install it tell me that I have no hard drive in the laptop. Also I cannot get into recovery mode or do a repair. "No hard drive Found".
Problem Fixed.

I cracked the vendors user-name and password. Once I got in I reset ted the passwords via computer management.
You know what was weird As I was opening my laptop to replace the hard drive I noticed it had no pins. I looked more like slots. It turned out that it was sata hard drive. So i hand to return the regular one and spend 70 more dollars for sata. 100gigs for 200+tax @ compusa
