This tutorial will walk you through the Motorola i930 Smartphone decertification process. If you follow these steps exactly as displayed, you will possess a decertified phone when completed.

Rule number one is the most important rule. Make sure to read, understand and agree to this prior to proceeding: All Nunlock subscribers must not release via email, PM, IM, phone, mouth, etc. or any sort of communication any portion of this tutorial and decert files or you will be banned from NextelNoob and your key for nunlock will also be deactivated for all new releases.
Please run the Nunlocker Decert3 Update program. After it has completed you will see a new folder on your desktop called i930 Decert 05. Please open that folder and there will be 2 more inside. These folders are called: “Step One” and “Step Two” with each folder containing two files each.
Step One will contain the following files: i.Sprite Backup for Smartphone
ii.Restorefirst.pbf

Step Two will contain the following files: i.Sprite 2.1
ii.Restoresecond.pbf
Clear all sprite and decert files off the SD card, phone and PC desktop. Triple check to ensure there are no residual sprite or decert files anywhere on the SD card or your computer’s desktop other than the files previously mentioned. We want a clean slate to work with.
Reformat the phone so that it is at a clean factory set start.
Power down the phone
Hold down the left soft key for 3 seconds and at the same time press the power button.
You will then see a white screen pop up asking you to approve the reformat. Proceed with the reformat and then move onto the next set of instructions.
Run Active Sync and place phone on the cradle.
Place “Sprite Backup for Smartphone” on the root(main) directory of the SD card.
To do this open up Explorer from the Active Sync toolbar.
Double click on the phone’s icon that appears.
Double click on the Storage Card Folder and drag the file there.
Place Restorefirst.pbf on the root directory of the SD card.
Go into the phone’s File Explorer and install the Sprite Backup for Smartphone.
Then (still using File Explorer) go to the SD card’s Program File folder and run Sprite.
When Sprite comes up it will give you 2 choices: Done and Authorize
Choose Done… Now choose Menu… Restore
You should now see the Restorefirst.pbf file selected.
Make sure the check box for Personal Data is UNCHECKED.
System Data should be the only one checked.
Now choose to run the restore.
It will prompt you to be in “Flight Mode”. i.Do so by pressing the Power button once and selecting #2
Let the restore run its course and when it is complete make sure the phone reboots whether it automatically will from the restore or if you manually do it.
Once the phone powers back up go again onto your SD card.
Create a new folder called: “DecertFiles” i.Place both the recently used Sprite and Decert files into that folder.
Now place the Sprite 2.1 and the Restoresecond.pbf on the SD card root directory.
Follow the same steps as you just did during the last restore (steps 7-10) except with these two files instead. When the phone is rebooted after the restore you will now have an officially decertified i930 Smartphone- the way it should have always been. Enjoy and we will see you on NextelNoob.com where you “Learn And Don’t Get Flamed”!SOURCE: DJJEFFA & NextelNOOB
