The i860 supports 8000hz, 16-bit Mono mp3's

The i730 and i830 both support midi type 0 ringtones and 8-bit mono .wav ringtones. To create your own custom .wav ringtones go here (http://www.djjeffa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=673)

The i90,i95,i205,i305,i530 all support midi type 0 ringtones only.

Here are ideal settings for the i730/i710

Frequency: 8000
Bits: 8
Setting: Mono

This is what I write all of my ringtones with using Nero Wave Editor.
