thanks jeff quick quistion tho on how you get the plate off that is over the lcd and wut are u using to protect the icd side when u heat it to take the lcd out

if you are asking what protects it from the heat, then i already answered your question. dont get too close and dont let it get too hot and youll be fine.

soory Im goan for the weekends in the summer but you could cut a peice of cardboard to cover the lcd while heating it :up:

thanks i apreciate all u do with this website and u and all the super modders for helpin the newbs i can now do houseing swaps on the i60 i90 and i95 thanks to ur videos and you and every one elses answers to my queistoins now im moveing on to the i730 and 530 thanks alote jeff and all u other super mods here u got a great site jeff :up:

i was bored so i took apart my i60 and put it into a i95 housing. it turns on and all but i always get "Insert SIM" even when the SIM is in. what happend?

most likely you dont have the housing screws tight enough or you striped them. if you cant get it tighter try put a peice of paper or cardboard behind the sim to po help keep it pressed against the contacts
