IIght first of all BIG BIG UPS to thekral (the maker of the open source webjal php file) and nexvision (also for hosting the file check out NextelModz) and spec_v for their testing it out and confirming the works.

Now I bring to you the Open Source WebJAL Server COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!

With this tutorial your will have a fully working webjal server for all supporting phone for lifetime for FREE! UNLIMITED PHONE SUPPORT, UNLIMITED INSTALLS, UNLIMITED COMPUTERS!!

If you do everything like I say so it WILL work, this tutorial is for Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1 is a MUST!) WITHOUT IIS (This is a NO NO) INSTALLED!!!!!!!!!

Just download and extract this http://www.nextelmodz.com/downloads/opensourcewebjal-vinnycuz.zip and double click the Instructions.html file for full instructions with pictures!

Oh yeah, and if you open up the zip and the first thing in your mind is WTF then DONT BOTHER posting your problems! For everyone else use this thread for support, ill do my best to help you get on the band wagon!

When you are done test out these links you should be golden if they all work!

page 1: http://127.0.0.1 -- you should get the apache webpage

page 2: https://127.0.0.1 -- you should get a security msg, here u hit yes and you should againsee the apache webpage

page 3: https://127.0.0.1/webjal010102/index.php -- when u go here you should see a message saying you have set up your webjal clone server correctly

page 4: https://idenupdate.motorola.com -- you should get the apache webpage

page 5: https://idenupdate.motorola.com/webjal010102/index.php -- when u go here you should see a message saying you have set up your webjal clone server correctly, if you get a security message then you have to say yes to install it then you should see the page

if you have done the install perfectly you should get all these pages with no problem and your ready to use webjal, if you do not go over the steps again and then make sure you did it exactly as i said...

one thing i noticed on xp, when u go to page 1 you'll get the windows webpage sayin blah blah about setting up a webpage, if this happens to u this means you have IIS INSTALLED after i told u not to...no biggie go to control panel, administrative tools, services, IIS Admin, double click, hit stop, then YES for its dependencies, then use the drop down box that says Startup Type and choose DISABLED! hit on and then try the links again and you should be good to go...
