i need a tut on how to grab and strech part of a pic

Step one: get the image and click on the Pen Tool.
Step two: start clicking around the area of the picture that you want.
step three: as you close the image right click on it and choose Make Selection
step four: with the selection made, create a second layer.
step five: copy the selection then paste it in the second layer
step six: Now you can stretch it or do whatever you want with that selection. :up:

I do this a little differently. I open my image, and magnify it a little, the I use the polygon lasso tool with the fill set at 0% to draw around (make a selection of) the part of the image I want to stretch. Then once its a selection, I use edit copy, followed diectly by edit paste, which creates a new layer of what you want to stretch.

Then with the new layer selected go to edit/transform path/scale/grab any of those neat little boxes on the outside of the selection, and stretch to your hearts content. Once done stretching hit enter for final effect.
