For anybody who has been uploading 3gp video's to there i860, I have found a method that let's you upload longer clips than 45 seconds. The largest clip size I uploaded was 1 minute and 37 seconds in length. I am pretty sure you could go even farther than that. Take a look at the pictures below.

Instructions -

1. open up Nokia multimedia converter pro and load your extended movie. (the farthest I've done is 1 minues 37 seconds) and use the settings below..

Image Size - sub-QCIF 128x96

Frame Rate [fps] - 10

Audio Bitrate [amr] - 4.75

don't press convert yet!!

2. now comes the tricky part, read below

look closely at the "conversion settings" box

the 3rd option on the bottom, [max file size]

3. click the little tiny box on the side of it, it will ask you to enter a number.

Now. this part is up to you- in the number box it ask's for a max file size,

type in - anything above 300. (depending on how you want the quality to be)

I usually put 320, 325, 350, 375 etc. nothing more. (video and audio quality is great)
**remember, the longer the clip, the more higher this number will be. Do NOT go over the 500 kb limit or it won't work.

4. click convert and save the 3gp video to desired location.

5. use w/e Jal you have and load it as a ringtone by typing the name of the video and clicking it in the drop down box. Upload it to the phone and vuala!! extended video clip on your i860.

As you can see from the pictures above I can confirm that this method works. Thanks for viewing the post!!!

Hit the rep as it took me some time to figure this trick out.
