Hey, I noticed this said suggestions, and I've had this thought in my head for quite some time, so:
What about a business section, or a discussion about ways to make money or Internet ideas or something?
I come here a lot, and I hate to have to go to like 15 different forums for help on different things, I figure, what if Djjeffa.com could be the supersite?
Does this sound like a reasonable idea, or should I just make a thread about business ideas, or something?
Obviously, not that I don't like the site as it is, much props are required, you guys kick large amounts of ass and have always helped in the past, so, word yo...
BTW, I don't know if you check your webstats, but somehow djjeffa.com has been flying through the alexa rankings and google pagerank within the last 3 months, for example:
About 3 months ago, we were 5, 367, 890 or close to it.
I now see you are currently at 739,316?
Did half the site download the alexa and google toolbars or something last month?
Anyway, it's just an idea (or novel), and congrats to your site, and keep up the good work no matter what.

good idea Busta!! i think adding a section towards business ideas and advancement would be a great idea! also maybe we could add a job posting for areas maybe? that is a fine idea. We currently have a Homelife section why not add a business section?
Once again that is a great Busta!
+1!

For starters, I'm having great success with Adsense. I've made over $120 per month for 3 months straight with no work whatsoever. Granted, that's not a whole lot of money, but a true magician never tells all his secrets :king:

Jeff, I think that a great idea. I have an open ended job openings that I would be glad to post. Maybe a subforum in the new section like the family photos.
I would volunteer to help!

you can get a webiste up and running for cheap (like under 10 bux) add adsense or YPN and drve some traffic there, there are easy cheap marketing tools on the net (myspace is a big one) and generate cashola every month.......
"THE INTERNET IS FUELED BY ADVERTISING" .......... remember that

This is true, however, I would still advise getting your own .com name, that way it looks more legit.
THE GOLDEN RULE IS YOU MUST SPEND MONEY TO MAKE MONEY!!
If you only have $10, spend $10, but re-invest the initial money you make, you will be glad you did.
Also, if any of you need a link to register, click the little white making money with adsense link on this page:

Note to mods: I never link whore, just trying to help out. :)

Right busta, i wasnt saying use myspace as yout site, i was saying once you have a .com which is about $8 now, you can use myspace bulletins to drive traffic there to your site. It's easy you can build your own profile and add a bunch of friends and start sending bulletins OR people actually create myspace accounts with mucho grande freinds and you can pay them like $5 to send a bulletin out to like 100,000 people......
works great if myspacers fit into your target audience. :)

busta u the man great idea. any ways for college kids with no money to make quick cash?
Ebay, adsense, and the stock market. A lethat combination. Go to clubs/concerts/car shows? Get local stuff, sell it on ebay, use the cash to invest in stocks. Watch the stocks almost as much as you watch djjeffa. Learn the stock market early, this is my best advice. I like Jim Cramer from CNBC. He's easy (as easy as stocks can be) to understand, and he is fun to watch, not like the news. Stocks may seem geeky to some, but I will say I was one of the wealthiest kids in my dorm when I was in college. There are stocks that are like 40 cents a share with growth potentials of like 400% (see google 5 years ago). If you can wait, investments can easily make you a millionaire. Instead of buying that Ps3, invest your money in a few diversified stocks, you'll be able to buy 3 ps3s with the dividends if done correctly.
Another thing you may be interested in is tax sale real estate. When people foreclose on a home that was a government given loan, that loan goes via tax sale auction, so the government can make quick money back. It's unlikely if you take one of those scams off TV, but if you look hard enough, you can find some locally, and if you live in urban areas, you can find some property pretty cheap. You may need to invest up to a couple thousand, but the payouts are rediculous. I made $37,000 equity doing this, but again, I spent close to $10, 000 invested. Look for HUD homes. They can go for as little as a couple hundred dollars depending on how old they are. If you are solely basing a career on money, real estate is where to be. Everyone thinks the markets decline, I take a look at it this way: Everyone needs a place to be. Land is the only thing that will always sell, no matter what. Even if we go to Mars, we';ll still need a place to be.
.......And look, another novel. 8)

real estate is a great way if you have the means to break into it.
i bought my house 2 years ago for $155,000 now its worth 205-215 range, thats a EASY 50-60k made in 2 years.....for doing nothing but paying a mortgage.
you can buy a house and rent it out for probably 100-200 more a month than you pay for it, let it rent for 2 years, and sell it for 20-50k more depending on the market. so you put in 5-10k @ closing and made ALOT more.

Yes, I love real estate. :) I'm an agent.
So, in recap, stocks are quick, easy money, but with more risk.
Real estate is more of a gauranteed (sort of), payout, but there is more money to invest and more time to take up (depending on your area).
The best bet for younger peeps/peeps with less money to invest is ebay or adsense, and I would advise that for anyone.
