Introduction

The Motorola iDEN i880 SDK for Java ME™ Technology supports the building and emulation of Java ME applications for the iDEN (Integrated Digital Enhanced Network) platform. This tool provides developers with Java ME platform APIs and iDEN extensions of Java ME-enabled handsets.

Caveat List

* Default Performance is tuned to be 50% higher than real device
* Phone number format check is not supported within Textfield
* RC5 algorithm is not implemented
* By default the LCDUI is displayed in a zoomed format with ratio of 75% in order to keep the right proportion to whole device image. Users need to manually switch to enlarged display with original pixel resolution (176*206) for the J2ME LCD area to get the same image quality as the device.

Following caveats are specifically for debugging:

* Watching class window may not work properly within JBuilderX™
* Debugging within JBuilder™ 7 is not supported
* Context menu may not work properly within SUN™ One Studio 5 (Mobile Edition)

Hello I have a question, I have a i880 and I wanted to see if it was posible to save my voice recordings onto my pc. I have the USB cable. I have tried to see it I could send the voice rcordings to my email or to my microSD card but was unable it does not give me that option. Do anyone have any ideas!!! thanks for you time and support...

to the best of my knowledge you cant. i have an 880 the only thing i could sugest is to record it as a video and then download it using the media downloader

i know you were able to email voice recordings on the i870 and previous phones that had that option, however to be honest i have never tried it on the i880 as i sold mine. do you have a data plan option on the phone? or try using tekniwap to send your personal email account a text message and see if that works.
