whats up guys? ok i may be stupid but i cant figure this out. when i load a ringtone on my v3 it says corrupted.. what am i doing wrong?

It could be alot of things. For starters, what format are your ringtones in?

they are in mp3 format

How are you getting them onto your phone?

Are you networking a bluetooth dongle (usb) from your computer?

If you are connecting through the bluetooth I'd say scratch that and get Mobile Phone Tools. Think of webJAL for all other types of phones. I've done about 15 rings using MPT and its worked well.

You have to do trial and error on loading ringtones the best way i found was to load threw MPT or even Bitpim, there is some tricks you have to do for MPT to work properly. Well this is for the Razr V3c version. If i am permitted to share these techniques on the forum i have alot of goodies that i have come accross for the Razr.
