Network ftp

Ok, heres my problem

Im intending on setting up an FTP server on one of my machines..

I have a 200 gig network drive, attached to a linksys fileshare server.

I want to share that drive on the FTP, but i dont know how

I was intending on using Serv-U, as my ftp server, exept it wont let me share my network drive. but if you know something that will let me share my network drive, that would be great

I can use either windows XP pro or below to run it...it doesnt matter which

u can use that or buttletproof Ftp or FileZilla Server. I would think just setting your Directory to that folder would do it. When you got the File Server it should have directions on how to do this.

well ive only tested with serv-u, and it didnt work, wouldnt recignize the network drive...ill try the other 2 servers

foward what to 21?? If you mean what i think you mean, i got an FTP drive to work, just not with my network drive being accesable..

and those other 2 programs didnt work either...i think its gunna be a nogo..

does the Drive have a IP or is it shared off a pc
