ok guys sorry i dont have pics but i can describe it very well.
note: i will not be held responcible for your actions
1. ok pop off your batter cover, remove battery, sim and the mettal thing for the antenea.
2. now you will see 3 visable screws (t8). Take those out and then their is a screw under the nextel sticker on the back (t8).
3. With those removed carefull pull off the back and remove the head set plug in and ribbon cable.
4. Pry the speaker off very slowly with a small screwdriver. (you may want to use a hair dryer but dont heat it too much.) when the speaker is free you will notice that the little chip thing is being held in by three little plugs. one of the plugs is squashed you will need to break off hte little piece of plastic to pull the green chip off of the housing.
5. Now for the front of the board. Remove the lcd ribbon cable from the board with a teezer or your fingers.
6. Now the board and the back half and front half of the housing should no longer be connected.
----The Flip----
7. These are going to be the hardest steps. You will noticed the front of the housing is attached to the flip. To remove the flip you have to take a small screw driver and insert it on hte right side of the flip right next to the service light hole. In there is a spring push the screw driver inward to push down the spring and lift the flip.
8. Now the flip is off. Take a hair dryer and heat up hte outer panel (not to hot). then insert a non sharp object from the inside of the flip there is a slash where you can push the outer panel out. slowly work the glue untill it pops off. It is very easy to crack so be carfull.
9. Now you can see two screws. remove them (t6). now the inner panel will come free.
10. pull The spring out of the flip and Pull out the middle piece and un coil the ribbon cable.
11. Now heres the hard part if you can figure out how it has been rapped around the black thing uncoil and slide hte ribbon cable thru the opening and remove hte riibbon and black thing.
12. To remove the silver plate over hte lcd take a small screwdriver and insert it from the side and pry off the meddle thing.
13. remove hte earpierce and set it aside and prepare for hte hardest part.
14. here is where you can SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM up your screen really easily. Take a hair dryer and heat up the front and back of the flip. your ok as long as you dont see any color change on the screen. When the glue has been heated insert a tiny flat head screw driver under screen and very slowing work around the glue and little by little lift hte screen. if you you see the screen turn dark yellow or a spot on the screen starts to turn. take out hte screw driver and keep doing htis over and over again.
15. once hte screen is up you will notice the ear pierce is stuck down just try a little heat and try to pry it up and dont break it.
Well their you go. now just follow The steps backwards and remember how you unrapped the ribbon cable and just put back in the new housing the way it was in the old one. Good luck and have fun.
