i830 screen problem

Yesterday I turned on my i830 and stuck it im my pocket as usal but when i took it out the screen was all white. I took out the batterie thinking it froze up but did the same thing. I went to a Nextel store and they said everything was fine, and this is common with the 830 phones and it should come back on. Well I started getting pissed off and banged it (I know it wouldnt fix it) and it turned on for about 15 minutes. Douse anyone know whats wrong? And douse anyone know if this is common with the i830 phones?

P.S. This phone is only 3 days old.

Then you have a 15 day exchange/return warranty from Nextel and a 30 day waranty from Motorola. That is if you didn't crap up the phone by hitting it and what not.

So to make a very long story short call Nextel or Motorola and have the phone replaced.

Called Motorola and they are over night shipping me a i860 for all the trobles the 830 put me through:biggrin: . Thanks.
