That's a prety cool mod. I've seen it on other forums and hear tis very easy to do. Should you heat up the M or just pry it out?

NP i was fiddeling with my phone when i got a idea but than it dident work until i found sum tape lol.but me and my friend slike it the phoen shop liek it everyoen liek it its nice if u got a status light.

if u heat up the metal piece b4 putting it on thsn let it cool it sticks better :up:

you can peel of the adhesive on the black material, and apply one piece to the phone and one to the grille, put the grille back on, and heat it up eith a hair dryer, it sticks on there like a champ, much better than double sided tape

Yeah it comes off extremely easy. But be careful with the little guy. I managed to lose mine!!! Speaking of which, anyone have an extra grill? lol

i became a bit brave .. tried it .. and sucessful .. but i like snapped the small clip of the grill (front piece, botton of M) :down: so the tape is the only thing holding it on :aw: i applied a little heat .. lets see how it holds up .. if it doesnt .. guess i'll be using that link .. ^^^^^^

when jimbo did ours he peeled the sticky stuff off the black piece and reused that.

you can your that but, the oil from your hands rune it and it does not stick well,plus useing heat will not make it sticky,on regular double sided tape will do.

wat sliver do i scratch off on the grill or on the phone???

Scratch the silver stuff on the rear piece of the M Gril. It will become clear and the LED lights will show through it.

YES someone posted sumttin where you can edit the wav tones to make the discolight flash i cant seem to find it but its on the fourm,look for search and typw in WAV :mrgreen:

I was gonna try to mod mine but when i took it off the whole thing was silver. in the back it had a liltle silver ball..i think is it because mine is to new?

well, i did the mod, but the lights still aint showin as much as other ppl's phone was showing. mine are hardly visible, should i try to peel off the black clothe on the grill ?

well, i havent tryed the disco mod yet. but for some reason i dont want to risk it.

i was bored so one day i saved up enough money, bought boards, ribbons, n stuff nd i built my own i730. so if i mess up it will hurt alot
it took me a month to make my phone

well u put the tape on the metal grill u have to make sure it is clear so the light flashes threw it ? under-stand... common sense

pop the grill off, take off the black film, scratch off the silver with a knife or something from the plastic part of the disco light NOT THE GRILL (some people are dumb) put everything back and done
