i830 screen blank

I need help! My i830 goes blank if I shut it and then open it back up again. The only thing that will get it to work is if I turn the phone off and then on again. Does anyone know if I can do anything to fix this?

Ok this has happened to me on a i830. The first thing is you probably downloaded a start up image right? ok the image you probably downloaded was corrupted and this has frozen the phone what you need to do is go to the wallpaper section on this site and search for the oem images the original images that came on the phone the t9, java etc.... now download them to your phone! if you cannot get the phone to turn on to download try hitting the power button on then press the two top buttons to by-pass the screens! this should start the phone up! then continue to download the original images on start up to your phone. This should correct the problem. if you have any other problems pm me and i will guide you through. May the force be with you!! Sorry masterlu i just love that saying!
