Man I really need your help. I downloaded both of these programs but it still won't let me put the ringers that i make myself onto my phone. it is saying there is a general comm. error. This pops up right at the end of the download. I thought maybe I was making them too long but I cut songs down to 5 sec just to see and they still wouldn't go. PLEASE HELP!

Cheetah is saying unable to read file information. What would cause that other than it can't read the file information? (for the smart a$$ out there) I attached the file i'm trying to convert

yah i use mp3 to start with and use Mp3editor to cut the size then i use dbpoweramp to make it a ringtone the format of the ringtones is posted somewhere on this site....but i think its all the lowest choices in the dbpoweramp for a wav conversion....i believe that is giving you an error is because its not the right wav format...oh and one more thing in the mp3 editor adjust the volume down 4.5 decibels and dont check volume normalization in the dbpoweramp that will turn the sound down just enough so you dont blow your speaker.....

IMO the best ringer making software is Adobe Audition. I have 1.5 and they just released 2.0 so it should be even better.
