http://djjeffa.com/images/sitebuilderpictures/step1.JPG
http://djjeffa.com/images/sitebuilderpictures/step2.JPG
http://djjeffa.com/images/sitebuilderpictures/step3.JPG
Slide Plastic card between boards as shown in pic and wiggel it down, then seperate boards.
http://djjeffa.com/images/sitebuilderpictures/i7303.jpg
Unplug lcd ribbion and remove board and keypad.
http://djjeffa.com/images/sitebuilderpictures/i7304.jpg
Remove t4 and on some models t6 screw.
http://djjeffa.com/images/sitebuilderpictures/i7305.jpg
Use pick or small screwdrive to press spring hing in while pulling flip out and slide ribbion out of keypad housing.
Careful with the ribbion!

Unplug inner lcd and lift off lcd, Lift of gray ribbion cover and slide out ribbion spool after that just pop out the ear peice ans outer lcd assembly. Dont forget to pop out the mic too!!!!!
Careful with the ribbion!

Jimbo

i dont even take the boards apart, i just pull the boards apart a lil bit so i can see what im doin and pop the screen plug off and go from there. i know what plastic piece youre talking about, it like goes in between the boards and kinda hooks onto them but doesnt look like it really serves a purpose.

the top is simple
just take the inner panle off as you would any outter panel. its only held on with glue. after that its 4 t6's and your done. also notice that they use an i95 speaker upsidedown for the earpiece. good luck.

u ahve to take the bottom half apart first, then unplug the ribbon from the boards, then take out the t4 out of the hinge then get small flathead in the right corner of the flip and compress the spring to pop the flip of the keypad part

if screws are stripped, pour some super glue in the hole of the housing and then let it dry with a toothpick in there. when It gets tacky remove the toothpick, and let it dry. Your all set. :king:

Its difficult, you have to put the plastic peice almost in, slip the spring in, then slide the metal peice in the groove, keep trying, youll get it, just make sure you dont loose the spring

joe nobody could answer this question beter than yourself.

I did my first housing chane without any directions but only you know your limits

Cheapest way is buying one with the housing on it and I say that cause if you try to do it yourself there is a chance it will cost alote more.

If I am not mistaken it is just on there with glue and can be taken off. Just take a flat head screw driver and get under it and then pry it off.

thanks for the suggestion, but no luck. i noticed that it has some indents where the arrows are... so i gently pushed though with a small flathead and it worked! check the pics!! (before and after) *also i noticed that there is no glue used. there are small slots where the piece snaps onto the housing*

The grill is actualy melted onto the housing, thats what those tabs are. When you put the grill on the new housing, i sugest either glueing it on or remelting those tabs as i might fall off if you dont.
