i730 "Premium Flip Out Holster. Buyer Beware!

I found out about this from a member of another fourm but he said:
Just received a "premium flip out holster" for my i730. Just wanted to say that it is the biggest piece of shite i've ever purchased! If you look closely at it, the notch that goes into the slot on the top of the phone to hold in in place slides right across the top button (the end button with the square on it). It only took about eight times holstering the phone to completely tear the button off the phone. Great design!! Just my .02

I know this is an old thread, but I was reading this and was looking at my phone and had an idea / comment about that problem with it tearing up the button..

Couldn't you just use a razor blade or something (be carefull, don't cut yourself). To cut off the part of the tab hook, that travels across the button area. Then it wouldn't drag across the button, but between them.. I haven't actually seen one of these holsters yet, but I'm gonna go out and get one. I'll post again with my results, that is when it happens.. (busy busy busy) :D
