to me it was
the back 830 housings had alot of things holding it down, the lil things were like the lil plastic thing holding down the i9x speakers down and there was alot of them and next to ribbons. the CID was very hard to get out. they put everything so close to each other

If you take ur time I think the 830 is easier than the 730. The only pain was the holding down stuff on the back case. The hing was the easiest of any IDEN phone. The buttons gave me a problem.

i really didnt think it was that hard, the hardest part is not bending the front panel when you take it off and that was cake, just heat it up really good

I did the actual housing change fine, but then i got no service and realize i left a piece out. When i went to put it back in i broke the ptt ribbon. Needless to say i sent it back to seller who had nsp on it and im getting a new one soon :). Hell, i dont recomend doing it, it was no fun at all.

If you have never done it before and dont want to possibly damage your phone please send it to someone has done it before and watch them do it.
