If you have internet on your phone and hate always looking around for a site on that little screen then check out TekniWAP
(This also will give you access to any WAP page if you only have the Basic plan)

Go to the Enter Site option on your phone and type in: teknidude
That'll take you right to the site.

It's got FREE text sending, tons of links, and you can send out Net Alerts from it.

Now if you don't have the Enter Site option on your phone then follow these instructions to get access to the site:
On the phone hit Menu -> Net -> scroll down to Nextel.com -> SubID
Now open up your browser on your computer to this page: http://www.teknidude.com/wap/alert.asp
Take that long number that's displayed on your phone and type it into the web page.
Now hit send on the webpage. :beer:
Your phone should now beep or vibrate or something... click GoTo on it.*****
Now the next time you want to visit the site, it should be stored on your phone as a net alert.
Click the MESG button then go to Net Alert and select TekniWAP

so i had a i830 and i used tekniwap to send text messages. now that i have the i870 and i try to go to the text messaging thing i dont even have the option. does anyone know any other way to get the free texing on the i870 with tekniwap???

yea i can get the net alert, but if i have the aim java app and i cant send messages threw tekniwap, what purpose does it serve now???
