Whats up, i95 and i730 question

I should have my i730 this month, ive decided to switch over to Nextel because they are by far the best..screw you Cingular!! lol

I wanted to know if the sim card from an i730 will be easily swapped into an i95, i90, and even i60? I heard that if you have over 200 names and numbers saved on it on the i730 and you swap it over to a previous phone such as the i95 it will lock up and not work...because the firmware is older. I will also be using Webjal once I get a data cable, but where can I get JeffJal? Ive been reading a LOT on this forum the past week since I will be joining you guys. One question, is Webjal pretty much just install the program, and then plug and play with the serial/usb cable? Im just wary because I dont want to take a chance messing up the software of the phone. :| lol Well thank you very much and Im sure ill stick aroudn here, you guys seem like a really chill group.

UPDATE** I just installed webjal with patch successfully. Very very simple prog but hopefull it will work when I receive my phone this month. Now just a few questions. Should I load one item at a time just to be safe? Or can I que up a list and it will automatically upload them to the phone. Also what are the limits on the i730 as for ringtones and wallpapers? Im sorry if this has been asked before but I did use the search function..two of the teams I am on run off a PHP server so I know about it very well. Newbies USE THE SEARCH button. lol Thank you sooo much!

From a Nextel Salesman point of view its not recommended to swap sims between the Condor and Falcon series of phones. I know from personally experience the sims worked in each other but i know what your talkn about the 200 name thing. Its that the condor ( correct me if im wrong anyone ) had a limit on like the falcons 600 and i think that may lock it up. Not to sure just going out on a limb.

Jeffa Jal isnt currenly in the operating process. Plus when you can get it, it will magically appear like i was told by people here.

My bad, By limits I meant how many wallpapers and how many ringtones can you save. IE. 40 Rintones and 100 Wallpapers. Like that. thanks though

50 midi ringtones, 16 wallpapers. and on the i730 only as many .wavs as the memory will allow, or 50 midi and 16 wallapers also

Cool, thank you very much. I already started making few of my own backgrounds last night. One more thing which im sure has been answered but I only found the solution to the ringtone portion of it. I know the names have to be in lowercase (twisted.wav), but is it the same with the Wallpaper files? And also can it include any spaces. For example, "the dog.gif" or does it have to be "thedog.gif" ? I would imagine an underscore would be needed for a space but not too sure, just want to do it right the first time around when I start modding my phone. Thanks everyone.

actually they can be capital except the extension (.wav, .gif). spaces can be used

Nice, thank you very much. I just ordered a USB data cable from ebay, wish me luck, only cost me 3 bucks so if it doesnt work back on Ebay it goes. lol

If you put a NEW 600 contact sim card from a 3 digit phone (like i730, or i530) into a 2 digit phone (like i90, i95) you will have to RE input your contacts and the phone will work fine but ull have to trasfer your contacts.
But if you put one of the old sim cards from the i95 or i90 into a 3 digit phone like the i730 then you will be fine.

to tell you the truth its perfectly fine to switch sims between falcon and condors. the only problem is you wont have alll the features such as setting certian rings for certian people on the 730

i switched my i90c sim card to a i730 and its barely getting a signal its often in the no service zone , i spoke to nextel and they told me that every condor sim card installed in falcon series were going to start malfunctioning.
