I have a Boost i730 and I seem to have screwed it up a little. When the phone turns on there are no longer any startup logos or anything, I tried to upload new ones to the phone and now the startup logos show up in the display / info (carrier_img, etc.) I also uploaded other logos but I can't delete some of them, it doesn't give me an option to delete. Also all of my profiles are gone now as well. Is there anyway of restoring the unit (like it was when I bought it) with a codeplug or something? If anyone can help either e-mail me or post a reply! csupinski@macteens.com

Did you upload them exactly as we said in the wallpaper startup thread?

1st pic ="carrier_img"
2nd pic ="text_img"

only if you made a backup of your phone before you changed it.

Is there a way to download someone elses backup and use that? Is the backup and the codeplug the same thing?

codeplugs are phone specific. you can do a restore through rss. Read the help file in rss carrier for exact instructions.

So if I restore the codeplug from lets say when I bought the phone does that mean that all the backgroud images and other things will be restored as well?

goto idenupdate.com and do a software upgrade. Might have to put your phone in flashtrap, but it will restotre it for you.

I have installed that iden update program but it doesn't work, the phone connects and everything but the thing says that the page can not be displayed. Even if I click on links on idenupdate.com it still does the same thing.
