IDEN Update not working?

Is anyone else having trouble with idenupdate? I cant get it to work even on a freash computer without webjal or patchers. :aw:

yea i been going through everything i can and i havent been able to get it to work for a while now.

I just tried it and it worked.

ok I got it to work on my computer at work but I have dail up ther plus I cant tie up the line to long :aw:
I know it has somthing to do with my patcher for webjal.

Yeah, I think I remember reading that you should disable it.

If you are using Vinnys webjal patcher and server you have to edit your host file when you want to run idenupdate and put a # sign infront of the string , so your host file will have this line #127.0.0.1 idenupdate.motorola.com

To do this:
Start, Run, C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc
Right click on the HOST file in that folder and open it with NOTEPAD

Thanks for the info, i tried to just remove vinnyz patch but it ddin't work
