How is that holding up? I did that to a bronze one for a buddy, and he seems to think the 3m vinyl is bubbling up, I have yet to look at it since I did it. I wonder if the heat gun was needed a lil more to help adhere it better. Looks good!! If you remove the outer panel you will be able to get a tighter and crisper look around the cid. Nice work!!! :up: :up:

it's holdin up well..it's all just a matter of makin sure there aren't any bubbles in it when you put it on. the only thing that sucks is that i did manage to put a couple of scratches on the silver panels w/ the blade...but that's ok. :).

it's reeeeeeed. heh. it does look orange in pics tho..it's like a ferrari red, that's prolly why.

and no, i don't get vinyl online. my dad is part owner of a shop called Nashville Tent and Awning, and my bro works there. i get him to bring home vinyl whenever i need any, beit for my car or any other little thing i need it for..

in this case, i just got a little roll of red, and i just lay it on the phone, then trim it as needed w/ an exacto knife.

I'll also get vinyl cut for free if i play my cards right, and don't ask for it ALL the time. ;).
